How to install the Android app
The app comes from this website, not the Play Store, so Android asks you to confirm a couple of times. This is normal for apps installed this way.
Download
On your Android phone, open this page in Chrome and tap Download for Android. If Chrome says the file might be harmful, tap Download anyway.
Open the file
When the download finishes, tap Open. (Or find Polity-Plus-v1.1.apk in your phone's Downloads or Files app.)
Allow this one install
If Android says "your phone is not allowed to install unknown apps from this source", tap Settings, turn on Allow from this source, then go back.
Install and sign in
Tap Install, then Open. Sign in with your phone number. Polity+ now has its own icon on your home screen.
Stay safe. Download Polity+ only from this website (medianpolitysolutions.com). Don't install Polity+ files forwarded on WhatsApp or from other websites. We will never ask for your OTP, password or bank details.
After installing, you can turn Allow from this source off again. The app keeps working.

- Open polity-plus.web.app in Chrome.

Questions and answers
Is the app free?
Yes, downloading is free. Citizens use Polity+ free. Leaders get a 14-day free trial, then need a paid plan to keep using leadership features. See Pricing.
Is it safe to allow "unknown apps"?
It's safe when the file comes from a source you trust: this website. The setting only applies to the app you used to open the file (for example Chrome or Files), and you can turn it off again after installing. Never install Polity+ files sent by other people.
Android says "Blocked by Play Protect" or shows a warning. What now?
Android sometimes warns about any app that doesn't come from the Play Store. If you downloaded the file from this website, tap More details and then Install anyway. If you are unsure, email us at medianpolitysolutions@gmail.com before installing.
Nothing happens when I tap the file, or I can't find it.
Open your phone's Files or Downloads app and tap Polity-Plus-v1.1.apk. If the link opened inside WhatsApp, tap the menu and choose Open in Chrome, then download again.
How do I get updates?
The app always shows the latest Polity+ features automatically. If we release a new app file, it will be on this page; install it the same way, over the old one. Your records stay safe in your account.
Will I lose my records if I uninstall or change phones?
No. Your records are kept in your account, not just on the phone. Install the app on the new phone and sign in with your phone number. Before uninstalling, connect to the internet once so changes made offline can sync.
Does it work on iPhone?
The download is for Android only. On iPhone, use the free web app and add it to your home screen (steps above). Your plan works in both.
